I continue to work on several issues surrounding parks and green space and am excited to be participating in the master plan update focused on greenspace - called GREEN GRAND RAPIDS.
City Appointments:
I serve on the Committee on Appeals and Districts, the Legislative Team, Appointments Committee, Economic Development Corporation, and the Special Committee of City and County Commissioners.
Community Participation and Involvement:
I continue to be an active member of the community, serving on a number of boards and committees including: board member of the Dyer-Ives Foundation, board member of the Children's Assessment Center, Chair of the Advisory Council of LISC, board member of the Grand Rapids Youth Boxing Foundation, and Co-Chair of the Kent County Domestic Violence Community Coordinated Response Team..
I serve on the following Standing Committees, which meet every other Tuesday, at the following times:
