The Second Ward represents the Northeast area of the city of Grand Rapids, running along the river, out to 4 Mile, along the Beltline, south to Wealthy Street. There are over 65,000 people who live in the Second Ward. The Second Ward is home to a variety of unique neighborhoods, including historic Heritage Hill; Easthills who mobilized their neighbors to save the Cherry Street wading pool; and Creston, the largest neighborhood in the Second Ward.
